Our achievements

Upazila ICT Training and Resource Center for Education (UITRCE), Kaunia, Rangpur office has been imparting ICT training to secondary and higher secondary level teachers in 03 (three) modules after starting its journey on March 02, 2016. A total of 3888 (three thousand eighty eight) teachers have been imparted basic ICT training in 81 batches (24 in each batch) till FY 2022-23 at UITRCE, Kaunia, Rangpur office. 72 (seventy two) in 03 (three) batches of computer hardware, network and troubleshooting and 384 (three hundred and eighty four) teachers have been trained in 16 (sixteen) batches of training on interactive online teaching and live class management. As a result of this training program, multimedia class activities have expanded in secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions and teachers are gaining skills in using information technology in professional and personal work. At the same time, other routine activities of Banbase including annual education survey, student cabinet election, GIS survey of educational institutions, PMT validation have been strengthened with field support. As a result, education statistics have been strengthened and the delivery of education data has been facilitated. Besides, Bangabandhu and Mukti Judda corner with books has been set up for the officers and employees of the office and the service beneficiaries at all levels - which is playing a supporting role in knowledge acquisition and education-research on the related subjects.
